Other views might vary. Photo for photo, the 36MP 25ISO version would behave exactly like the D800, and no-one is complaining about its low light performance. The only constraint is the lack of f/0.7 lenses for the real low light stuff, but that is it. With an f/1.4 prime it could do everything that a D800 with a f/2.8 would do.
