which camera should i bring, the FujiFilm x100 or Cannon Ti2 [75-300mm, 18-55mm] ?

Thanks for your helpful opinions in advance!

I've used the FFx100 a few times now: Rio, Tel Aviv, etc. and it's just fantastic! good photo's in low-light, very "nice looking" so other travellers are enamoured to take a photo, and fits well in a backpack.

However, I'm now to visit
[1] Alaska
[2] London (Olympics)
[3] South Africa / Zimbabwe

Questions
[1] Which camera would you recommend for which place?

I plan to use the FF x100 for all of them, except for the olympics and Africa, when I'll need the 75-300 mm zoom

[2] The USM 75-300 mm cannon 1:4-5.6 III got really good reviews, but i've noticed it's very "shaky"....is it b/c there is no image stabilisation? How should i be careful with this in my pics?

[3] i love the FFx100, but i've noticed that the Ti2 takes slightly better / crisper pictures than the FFx100...agree/disagree?
