FCP x and canon 5d iii files ALL-i vs IPB

I doubt anyone know the answer to this but I will ask it anyway.

If you shoot video using the ALL-i method, can you skip the step in the Import dialogue where it asks you if you want to Optimize the video. According to Canon ALL-i is already basically optimized. Any opinions?
