By DPR apparently, preview of the new Canon - LOL

Where is it said that, exactly? Quotation please.

Did they sell many adapters, I wonder? Nobody seems to use them.

Ah, you wonder, so you don't know, but how does sales volume have any relevance to performance? Does iPhone peform better than OM-D?

Here's a situation: someone owns a 7D and 3 EF or EF-S lenses. Looking to buy a smaller mirrorless so that it can be brought in situations where bulk is a problem. Get a Canon mirrorless with 1 or 2 Canon mirrorless lenses. Advantage: The mirrorless body can be used as the backup for the 7D in situation where bulk is not a problem, it focuses as fast and accurate with the EF/EF-S lenses, so there is no loss of functionality.

I doesn't according to DPR.

See above.

Where would this advantage be in buying the competition (m4/3)?

But how would you know how big or heavy the Canon mirrorless will be? Even if it does not compete in size and weight, but in functionality and versatility it may.

And they cannot in FAST AF, so everybody who isn't a fanboy will make the proper choice.

Again, how do you know? And here you come full circle, as I said:

"I would expect that much for Canon Hybrid AF v.1.0."

"But I also would expect improvements in Hybrid AF v.1.1 in EOS 700D next year. "

And BTW, you conveniently skipped my question:

Where would this advantage be in buying the competition (m4/3)?
