Sony A77 "Camera Error"

Thanks Skip, that's essentially my trail of thought which is why I am hesitating to send it back, although I do have my A700 as a backup body it feels weird to try and use that after using the A77 for 8 months.

osu9400, I am on the latest firmware. You must have had heart failure with that happening at a wedding!! Did you not have a second body with you?

Thanks for the tip Fotogrfr , maybe that is why it went back to normal after I had put it away and got it back out again. I know that I have had the issue of it not showing aperture values sometimes when I change lenses and as you said, needed to wiggle it about on the mount and all is fine. Never happened on either of my previous bodies.
