Some recent square crop photos (from the obsolete D700 :-)
Jun 8, 2012

I've been doing a lot of square crop photos recently as I really like the format.

I know some manufacturers offer a square crop as an option in their cameras but I don't think this is possible on any of Nikon's DSLRs - certainly not on my D700 so mostly these photos have been taken using the handy square gridlines in the centre of the D700 viewfinder as a guide.
