Topaz PhotoFXLab

Topaz officially released PhotoFXLab today at an introductory price of $29.99. It will eventually go up to $79.99.

I can see a few uses for it, for example, it runs as a native plug-in through Lightroom rather than through a bridge, and allows me to apply effects from multiple plugins in a single go.

I tried playing around applying some settings from existing photos, what Topaz is calling Instatone, and got some pretty nasty looking results! It was only a quick 3 minute peek into this feature, so I should be cautious before making too many comments.

Other than that, it is a bit underwhelming when you already have programs like PS or LR, but I have not really played much with it.

Anyone else?
