Amateur shooting at wedding covered by pro?
Jun 7, 2012

I'll be attending the wedding of a relative this weekend and would like to attempt some shots before and after the wedding (probably not during the ceremony unless requested by the family). I have a lot of respect for pro photographers and realize how difficult their job can be, so I want to be as inobtrusive as possible. My goal is to stay out of the way and possibly capture some images the pro doesn't see, not to attempt to replicate what they are doing. What's the best way for me to approach the pro and put them at ease before the wedding, so we can each get what we want?
