I tried it in the store when my order arrived a few weeks ago. Because I'm not willing to put up with sending the camera and waiting to get fixed (when it should have arrived without the AF issue) I decided to return it. I'll wait until things get settle a bit. Maybe a few more months.

I also rented a D3X and found out it has the same issue (the copy I got of course). The guy in the store told me they were going to send it to the service for (re)calibration.
