I want to go mirriorless in some time - currently use 4/3 gear but used sony in the 707-717-828 era.

What do you think about the Sony approach:

Sony R1 - Bang!
Sony Minolta APS DSLRs - Bang!
Sony Fullframe DSLRs - Bang!
Sony SLT - Peng ( the german translation of Bang! )
Sony Nex - Bang!
Sony RX100 - Bang! ( perhaps similar market as the R1 but no hotshoe ).

Will Sony be able to supply users of those with new versions in the future, or do you think that half of those who bought Sony because of a specific Sony product line might be disappointed by discontinuations in some years ?

Well, I also might be forced to at least change my system from 4/3 to m43... if not nex or ( well what I also think about ) Ricoh GXR

But better that than the Canon or Nikon "DSLRs and phasedetect AF forever, never something else serious" approach.
