OM 12-50 Lens and Lee Filter System

Just got the OM-D and would like to use my existing Lee filter system on the kit lens.
The Filter thread is 52 mm for this lens - does anyone know if the Lee standard adapter will be ok to shoot without problems at 12mm?
Lee also make a wide angle adapter but its double the price and the standard may be ok at 24mm 35mm FOV.
