LX5 vs the RX100

My LX5 and the predecessor have been my long time standyby camera for my D7000 and GH2. It takes great pictures and has never let me down when I don;t have one of the larger bodies and lenses with me. Having just read a few reviews of the Sony RX100 it would seem to be a real competitor to the LX5 as it's smaller, has a similar reach, larger sensor and a faster lens. Anyone have thoughts on this?
