Venus Transit

What, no Venus Transit photos posted? What are you people, artists or something?

Too busy with work to set up a nice time lapse of the Venus Transit today, but did manage a few quick snaps after work. Here is the best of the bunch. Atmosphere was extremely turbulent, strong gusty winds over the desert and aloft. Venus had all kinds of funny shapes and peculiar bulges except for a few out of the two dozen shots I ripped off to try to get one or two lucky shots.

Taken with T3i, 70-300L IS lens, 1/500 sec @ f/8, ISO 100, handheld.
