Transit of Venus

For those who are interested in celestial events; it is the last time this century Venus will transit in front of the sun.

With rain threatening to spoil the party I managed to get a shot before the clouds rolled in.

Please excuse the haze around the sun, uploading to DP has created some compression artifacts.

I used Baader astrosolar safety film for the shot.
