7D’s LCD screen issue

That is odd, isn't it ? Both cameras appear to have the same size sensor, too. It sounds as though your 7D might benefit from some MF adjustment as per the manual if you've not already tried that. Or if there is another possible explanation hopefully someone else will happen along and provide it !

If MF doesn't help then maybe it's "back to the shop" time.....
