It is a fact of life

Every new Nikon DSLR I have purchased has had the same problem.

Oil splatter is common on new DSLRs, even a Canon has the problem. It will stop happening after a thousand or two images but it will have to be wet cleaned.

Best to go ahead and get the stuff you need and learn how to clean your sensor. I have been cleaning my sensor from the D1 days and it is a GREAT relief you can do it yourself. I remember sending my D1 back to Nikon for cleaning and after two weeks it came back with more dirt that it left with!
