Nikon 'forgot' GPS/BlueTooth on D800...

I have to say I bit the bullet and got the GP-1. In Yosemite I had no issue locking on to satellites, in the city it was an issue and I kept a spare battery with me and a AC converter for the car which allowed me to keep both batteries charged.

This is a great solution if you dont want the GP-1.
