Backing-up on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

I'm going on a holiday for about a month and am taking the Nikon D5100 with me. I would like to make a backup every other day from my SD-card. Since I've no space to take a laptop with me too, would a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 do the trick? I would like to copy the contents of the SD-card from the D5100 to the internal storage of the Tab without altering the original files (like the iPad does when importing with the SD-card connector), or to an external Micro SD-card for that matter. Does anyone have any experience with this?
