I use the LumaLabs strap attached to 2 Really Right Stuff (RRS) B2-FAB screw clamps which I modified to remove the ball head nubs to screw in the straps lugs flush and drilled and tapped safety stop screws on the plate surface. This allows me to attach one side of the strap to the vertical rail of the RRS Plate and the other side to the horizontal rail of the L-Plate thus allowing the option of quick removal for tripod use. If I am carrying My 70-200VRII I attach the clamp from the horizntal rail to the RRS LCF-10 foot mounted on the lense. I also have a RRS clamp attached to a Blackrapids RS-4 but prefer the LumaLabs as I like the option of tightening the strap when I have the camera to my face . The RRS clamp when attached to the vertical rail of the L-Plate gives me a good place to grip the left side of the camera and does feel comfortable. I place the screw knobs on the clamps forwards.
