Finally bought my new A65 with kit lens

Charging the battery now and waiting to be able to try it out.

What I noticed so far is that the 18-55 mm lens runs smoothly from 18 to 40 mm but after that I need to apply some more force to go to 55 mm. It's not a problem if I turn the zoom ring fast but if I turn it slowly it tend to stuck until I use more force.

Is this normal or should I return the lens?
