Is sensor size an industry wide sham?

... but still a 90 mm lens is most likely larger than Olympus 45/1.8. Actually twice as long :). Leica has a collapsing 90 which comes close in size though. In general one can take Leica lenses as what is possible size-wise in FF format, if price plays no role and if you do not require AF.

So while slow FF lenses could be much smaller I do not think that they will entirely match µ4/3rds lenses in size (when equipped with AF) and you are still stuck with paying at least $1000 more for a FF camera than a µ4/3rds one of comparable body quality.
