OM-D E-M5 underwater review
Jun 3, 2012

I had the chance to shoot the OM-D E-M5 this week underwater. And though folks would be interested.

I am a Nikon user normally (I shoot a Nikon D4), but really liked the E-M5. The ISO ability and stabiliser really impressed me. The image quality matches or betters most current APS-C/DX SLRs.

Weak point is shooting erratic moving subjects with continuous AF (slow underwater) and TTL flash (lag). Maybe a better choice of options in the menus could improve this?

Olympus's underwater housing is good value, but not cutting edge ergonomically compared to the best SLR housings. AFAIK, PEN housing ports do not fit it.
