Sigma 8-16mm on NEX-7, first impressions

Thank you very much. I had forgotten about this metabones adapter. As said I don't care about autofocus, and because I already own the canon mount Sigma 8-16 it would make more sense for me to buy the metabones adapter for 400$ than a second Sigma Sony A(700$) plus adapter LA-E1(150$). However the Metabones adapter compatibility with the Sigma 8-16 is undocumented in the Metabones web site. Do you positively use this adapter with the Sigma 8-16mm HSM on the Nex 7?
