There wasn't really a emotion nor reason behind them,
so for their purpose i cant comment on,
no its not on purpose, its just how the light had hit, better angle could have givin a better shot of the eyes,

Overall... Vignettes aren't necessary, and I'm not sure what to think about the processing or the style. It's intriguing, and yet it puts me off, and I'm not quite sure why.
