Point being - a really good shot requires some inspiration, a lot of thought, a fair amount of technical knowledge, and occasionally a bit of luck. It's completely different from the video workflow, different priorities.

Whether you shoot one frame to get it or a thousand, you still have to go through that process. And you won't get that great shot just by waving a camera in video mode around.

Yep..it's just a camera with a very high frame rate. I can't imagine going through thousands of shots to find the "perfect" one. To some degree, I even find with digital a "machine gun" mentality that film didn't have. Film made a person think before the shot, or being darned sure, if shooting intuitively. Bad enough processing Raw files without having to go through thousands+ of them on a day's shoot.
