D800 sent to Nikon Australia for left AF fix

I just received my d800 on Tuesday. Serial no 8005xxx

It also has the left AF issue. Ive now posted it back to Nikon HQ in Sydney Australia and they

called me yesterday that they have fixed the problem. They also acknowledged that an earlier batch had this production line fault. Another guy who got the camera same day as me

with serial no 8006xxx told me his was crystal clear. I hope to receive my camera back from Nikon on Tuesday. Im.glad they acknowledged the problem. One other thing. I asked the tech how they tested the camera. He said they calibrate it using f2.8 aperture. I told him I had the problem at f1.4. He said even tho its calibrated at f2.8 it would be fine at 1.4
