Anyone had S100 with fluttering/woodpecker sounds in video?

I have the same issue. Purchased 12/11 in Seattle. All cameras I've tested here in California have same issue.

Sending the camera in for repair returned the same issue (duh!).

I currently have "escalated" the issue to Canon Corporate (beyond the call center) . They are going to test the s100 against the sx260 (just as a proof the sound isn't there on a $100 cheaper camera). I should hear back in a few days with what they find and what they offer.

Let's be honest, though. They are trying to pack a lot into way to small of a body.

I'll repost when the issue is "resolved". My guess its a bad design with the lens/optical unit or simply a software tweak for autofocus in video mode.
