Moon, 50D and 1500mm lens

Hi all,
I bought a Celestron NexStar 6SE Telescope. It costs about as much as a 70-200mm f4 IS USM. The optical tube is a1500mm f/10 Schmit Cassegrain.
It's a pleasure to use! Not just visually, but also photographically. Here's a test shot of the Moon at ISO 1600 and 1/13 of a second. The Moon is very low in the sky, there's a lot of haze and there are wispy clouds:
The seeing wasn't too good. At 10x magnification (in Live View) it seemed as if the Moon was at the bottom of a swimming pool. Everything was moving about and deforming. Combined with the 1/13 shutter time everything was blurred by at least 4 pixels in the original.
This reduced version, however, looks quite pleasing to me. I hope you like it.
Also, I hope you have some tips for me. I'm very much a beginner at this.
Thanks and goodbye.
