Haven't tried it but doubtful, its not a camcorder. AF is spotty at best (except for initial focus). Not sure why you would want to zoom during a shot anyway unless you are just shooting kids soccer or something of the sort. If you are doing high end video, zoom is rarely employed, and theres a reason for that.
