Tom,
Thank you for posting J-9 on M mount.
It is little bit bulkier than I though.

I need a 75-90mm range lens. (It is approximately 100-135mm range on APSC sensor) I also want to use it with my Bessa R.
It may be J-9 85mm f2, voigtlander 75mm f2.5 or leica 90mm f4???
Getting a nice J-9 on ebay seems a bit problematic.
What do you think about J-9 and the above lenses?

Cenk,

I only know the J-9 and the Minolta M-Rokkor 90mm f4.0 which is almost identical to the Leica lens you mentioned. The Minolta is a beautifully made lens which is very nice use. Both are effectively 135mm. The extra bulk of the J-9 can be attributed to the fact that as an f2.0 lens it is a considerably faster lens. It is also a good performer but may be susceptible to flare as I don't think it is coated.

It is also harder to find a good J-9 example in ltm but they can be found. There are also J-9 in M42 configuration which even allowing for the M42 adapter are much the same length but wider in girth.
