Hi again Johnny. If you know what kind of images you are likely to be making, that might help you decide between the two.
The weather sealing of the Olympus is important to me when taking landscapes in unpredictable English weather, or on the coast. Live bulb is a great feature for low light landscapes. The new image stabilisation is supposed to be good, but I've yet to find a situation where I can say it has contributed towards an image. The EVF is an improvement over the VF2 to my eyes.
The GX1 has the 20mm f/1.7 permanently attached and it is my take everywhere camera. Yes, I could probably get away with just the Olympus, but I do like the GX1 too. It's a cracker too.
