AF-I 300mil 2.8 IF ED Handheld no VR

Would like any feedback regarding this lens. some pics while testing the lens. Thanx in advance.

OOC, no sharpening, hazy 88% humidity day, handheld in the middle of the street with on-coming traffic, no VR, first generation of in-lens motor pre-AF-S

...and with a lot of shot discipline and a lil LUCK. Who needs VR/VRII
