All shots are zoned. I process the shot differently for different areas. In theory. None of these needed much work though.

The D3 files and the OM-D files will both let you do whatever you want. The E-3 and G1 files need careful handling.

One thing I find with my GX1 (and all previous cameras I've had) is that bright colours become washed out as even pure primary colours seem to get through the other coloured pixels and wash them out unless I under expose.

It could just be the better DR of the D3, or maybe they use more efficient colour filters, but it seems like the difference is the depth of colours, or at least the other channels not washing out.

Or did you just boost the saturation in post?
