Nice try Chato to spin it but your message should be against this host for making a disgraceful comment especially the day before Memorial Day....

I earned the right to tell it like it is. And it IS Memorial Day, not bash a cherry picked leftist day.

Dave

and very nice of you

"Memorial Day

Memorial Day is the holiday in the United States where we honor those who risked their lives in defense of our country. We do not ask on this day, if this or that war was right or wrong. We do not ask, because that is a question this day was not designed to answer. It is to honor the courage and commitment of those who put their lives on the line...

Memorial Day — first called Decoration Day — got its start as holiday commemorating fallen soldiers at the end of the Civil War, according to Yale historian David Blight. In 1865, former slaves exhumed Union soldiers from a mass grave in Charleston, South Carolina on the site of that city’s racetrack and buried them in individual graves. It was a ten-day project that ended in a day of celebration of the newly united nation, peace and freedom in which thousands of Charleston’s African-American families gathered to decorate graves, pray, play games and picnic.

It is a time to honor the courage of those who served. Just them, and nothing more. They gave up their lives to defend the country - Which to my mind means they gave up their lives to defend their neighbors, to defend people - And they gave up their future to give the rest of us a future.

None of these graves come with a "Party" identification. None say, Republican. None say Democrat. None Say Communist. None say Socialist. Those who think death is political are not honoring the memory of these brave men and woman who served. That they served is the bond that links us to the past, and links them to the future. Without them there would have been no future.
These men and woman gave up their future.
I salute their service. All of them!
Dave"

Well done!

Happy Memorial day to all and to our fallen heroes, veterans and soldiers protecting this great country!
