NX20 Usage Impressions

For remote viewfinder and mobile link, the camera opens a limited access point. It is similar to and adhoc connection. The ports that open and the credentials to sign in are handled by the apps (either downloaded from android's play store or apple's app store.)

For all other wireless features (except wifi direct) it logs onto an access point (which could be your cellphone or starbucks or whatever) or your home network and does it's thing from there.
