Mac Mini good for Photoshop, Lightroom and large files?

Hello All,

I am considering to switch from my windows machine to a Mac. Since I still have a great high res and calibrated screen my first choice would be a Mac Mini..

But, is the Mac Mini any good for Photoshop editing and Lightroom handling large files? I'm using a Canon 7D with approx 20 mb RAW files and 200+ MB photoshop files. I'm not running any extreme 3D renderings or anything, but basic to advanced photo editing on photoshop. I was thinking about buying the 2.7 GHz dual core i7, 8GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6630M and just the standard 5400 rpm hard drive (SSD is just too expensive..). But before putting my money in this machine, i would like to know if it is any good. Anyone with experience? Is it comparable to an iMac?
