D800 - finally the skin tones I wanted, smooth transitions [img]

Here is a studio shot of today showing the tonal transitions on skin. It is almost unprocessed, some skin blemishes removed, some contrast added.

To me it´s another welcome step forward in image quality up from the Sony A900. Resolution is a different thing, as the A900 with Zeiss lenses was state-of-the-art. I guess choosing the D800 E is essential if you seek more resolution.
