Fascinating. I agree with Suntan (see my first word in the above post), and he berates me for denying the truth of what he says.

It seems I know a great deal more about WB that Suntan probably even guesses at.

For five years, I have been contracted to shoot 150-200 quilts at various exhibitions. With massive variations in house lighting, and a need for precision in fabric colours, WB is an ever-changing (every two shots) challenge. It is made worse by 90degree adjacent quilts providing colour casts.

And note that I did NOT say that the correction should be made in camera! Sheesh!
