Successful wedding shoot wiht the SD1

I shot a wedding Friday afternoon. This was the second one I've done with the SD1.

I used full res RAW for the formal shots and used Medium res RAW+JPG for the ceremony. With the 1.06 firmware, I was delighted with how everything performed and the images I got. The formals were shot at ISO200 and the ceremony was shot at ISO 400 & 800. There is no banding in any of the shots. The new firmware seems to have helped greatly in that respect. Also, focusing was spot-on as long as I had the focus point in the right place.

I would not hesitate to shoot another wedding with the SD1.

I'm not saying it's the best wedding camera, it certainly is not, but it is a serviceable one.
