CL or eBay

I have had bad experiences with Craig's List. I have only used it twice, but both times there was attempts to scam. I have done quite a bit of business on ebay and I have found that as long as you deal with sellers who seem to be concerned with their feedback ratings and have a return policy you are reasonably safe. I have bought a couple of lenses on ebay that have served me well over the years, but I'm very careful. I never buy gray market equipment and only from an individual as opposed to a newspaper or from a rental house. It is also good to ask the seller questions. The regular sellers have come to know that negative ratings could hurt their reputation and their business. So definitely ebay if used wisely.
