Have you have uploaded the A-GPS file successfully?
If so then it shows there is no issues with communication.
The firmware update is located in the "Function" menu at the top of the screen, not on the small window with the start button.
When the Utility is running, what menus are shown at the top of the screen?
Try the Command+U key key combination to activate the firmware update function.
The screen that pops up shows the current firmware version .
If you are still lost, then try another USB port, restart your Mac etc.
