And I thought Bird in Flight (BIF) pics were hard (Fisheye pic)

Hi!

When I first started shooting DSLR's in 2004 I found it frustrating to consistently get BIF pics.

After some equipment upgrades and technique improvement I've gotten better!

Nikon D3 ,Nikkor 200mm f/2G IF-ED AF-S VR
1/2000s f/2.2 at 200.0mm iso250

Then I started trying to get insects...even harder:

Nikon D3 ,Carl Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 2/100 ZF
1/8000s f/2.0 at 100.0mm iso1250

Nikon D3 ,Carl Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 2/100 ZF
1/5000s f/2.8 at 100.0mm iso800

However, trying to get a bat in flight was more of a challenge!:
(Taken in the "Kingdom of the Night Exhibit" at Omaha's Henry-Dorley Zoo):

Nikon D3 ,Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8G ED AF DX Fisheye ,SB-900
1/2s f/2.8 at 10.5mm iso6400

(I have a few hundred lesser images from my outing!)

Best Regards,

RB
