Computing is moving on. Maybe there will be another MacPro but this would be the last. The future/present is cloud computing. Your data and processing power is migrating off-site. You rely on broadband to connect. Why should Apple support the old paradigm for much longer?

Apple is investing in use-anywhere-devices. This is what 99% of customers value. Maybe you should worry about who supplies your off-site processing and who stores your off-site data.

Us photographer like to do things local for now. I hope Apple continue to support us until we figure out how to do things in tomorrow's world. Still, for the longer term we should embrace the new paradigm and I expect Apple to show the way forward. So when there is no new MacPro it will be a wake-up signal for me at least.
