Sigma 2x EX DG APO AF converter with smc-P A* 300 F/4?
Anyone have or use this combination? From the looks of it, it seems as if it would work for many of the really ancient lenses I have, e.g. those highly recessed ( or no ) rear elements, and seems to do a good job of maintaining the IQ of the host lens based on others comments and examples. But hoping this specific combination would work.
Sorry but it won't fit. The front element of the Sigma 2X will hit the rear element of the A*300/4 lens. I recommend instead, the Tamron or Kenko 2X MC7 teleconverters.
