you sound like myself, i am keeping the D200 for pure telephoto work, where Nikon has quality lenses and great AF especially for tracking, i sold my Tokina 12-24mm last week because the GF1 and Panny 14mm/2.5 can take over nicely from it. So until here are some decent Telephoto lenses available for m4/3rds i'll be keeping hold of my Nikon equipment........the D600 sounds like i just might fit the bill

I definitely prefer using the D200 with my 80-200mm f/2.8 to photograph things like my nieces playing soccer or my toddler cruising around the front yard. The AF tracking is better, there is no viewfinder blackout, and the lens is awesome and fast... even if my screwdriven 80-200 doesn't autofocus quite as quickly as my Panasonic 45-200mm on the GF1.

I would love to sell the Tokina 12-24 and get the Olympus 9-18mm or 12mm, but unfortunately I think I would only get about half the cash needed out of the Tokina.

the night is dark.....and full of terriers

Love the signature!

I kind of think this is one area where the DSLR will stick around. My "ancient" Canon still focuses on moving targets pretty well...
