I'm not sure why anyone would insist on keeping their ISO set to 100 when, depending on camera model, you can easily shoot cleanly at ISO 800 or higher. Remember the 1/focal length rule for shutter speed.

So I should have been shooting at 1/840 sec or whatever I could get closest to. 1/750 or 1/1000 second would have been even better.

Shooting through these dark filters and with a max aperture of f/5.6 means bumping the ISO.
