I'm glad you asked, I was wondering the same thing today, and did a google search and found this post! Timely

I love the camera so far, but that puny useless paper manual didn't help! I am using a manual lens and spot exposure, so I had to find, download, and then dig around in the pdf to figure out how to set things up (you can do some pretty amazing things!)

I actually like the pdf manuals (read them on my iPad), but I think for these basic features (and the menu configuration) the paper manual that came with the camera should at least have a summary to explain things. It is a pretty complex little camera!
