CaptureOne D800E processing: visibly better
May 25, 2012

I've been playing around with the trial version of CaptureOne, and I felt that its processing of D800E images is visibly better than in Lightroom 4 or Aperture 3. I decided to do a quick "pixel peeping" comparison, and I think it is clearly superior compared to Lightroom, but you can make up your own mind.
I used Rob Galbraith "D800 vs D800E" sample NEFs for the comparison. Please read his article first if you haven't done so already:

The comparison between applications is available here:

Aperture 3 output was almost identical to Lightroom 4 so I didn't bother uploading it as well.
Comments welcomed.
Thanks.
