If Nikon releases the D600 for 1,600 $, I strongly believe it will be the beginning of the death of APS-C format as we know it. Maybe it will continue to be used in mirrorless cameras, but for standard mirror DSLRs, does not make sense anymore. That's me, the market might actually respond differently.

for me APC will die the day pentax releases FF. If they did not do it in 3 or so months, I might end up with nikon or sony FF .

Pentax just released a brand new APS-C DSLR and a brand new APS-C mirrorless. Even if Pentax releases a FF camera, how exactly this signal death for APS-C from the company doing both mounts with new products? There's even a new APS-C lens roadmap.

you did not read properly , I said "for me ...", what I meant is I will never buy APC cam again and will be using FF only. I will never consider APC for myself.

In fact I am now sorta tired of waiting and would probably buy some FF in my first chance. I am waiting a bit more thinking that there might be few new FF offerings by nikon and sony in coming days or 2-3 months.

I did not mean the FF offering by pentax would kill APC. I just do not want it against FF.
