Amazing, Sandy.

Unfortunately, the newer DP models give up a little in DR, most probably due to the inclusion of AFE in the processing pipeline.

I've had a chance to process several more photos and put online, these are the 'comparision' photos to the DP1 and DP2... which honestly are 'better' than the Canon 5DII photos at this place with huge light/dynamic range conditions.

And I'm not 'cherry picking' ... these are the 'best' 2 Canons of that scene.

Frankly, I was really surprised at the results. The Canon has the sheer resolution, the DP1/DP2 the ability to take in the range better.

I've got GBs of photos.... Rocks, rocks, and more rocks from our trip to the US Southwest! We're actually still travelling, but nearer to home... we're in Pennsylvania about 140 miles from home to pick up my husband's sister to take her to Virginia tomorrow for their mother's 100th birthday on Saturday... so my time to process is still limited. I've got many comments to write about the trip and the cameras.
Best regards, Sandy
